Official Launch and Seminar

Official Launch and Seminar was successfully  held on 12th January 2023 in The Art Gallery, National Institute of Education, Singapore.

 

During this exhibition official launch, artist academics working in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom had a dialogue about art’s intersections with the processes of creative research. In the seminar, art’s relevance and location in research are discussed along with the

socio-cultural benefits and tensions associated with such endeavors.

Artist academic Dr Ching Chor Leng also performed a ‘communal Phd thesis burning ritual’ during the opening.
